I went to see them the other night here in san antonio for the twenty-something time and was impressed that they changed-up their setlist more than what I expected... Ya'll thing Social D. doesn't change up their setlist enough you should try going to see the Reverend Horton heat year year then... I just wish Social Distortion would play for two hours like the Reverend does... I mean Social D. charges 3 times the ticket price and only plays for and hour and a half... They should at least play for two hours including a encore. esp. with their extentive catolog! But really those two bands should do a major tour and that would kiss ass and take names!!!!

Glad to hear the Rev changed things up. LIke you, I'm in the "seen them 20somthing times" group but the last time I saw them it just didn't do much for me.

What songs did they put in that haven't shown up lately? I will admit though, opening with "Big Sky" is pretty killer.

    Awww man!!

Between having a life in San Francisco and TRYING to maintain a life in San Diego I keep getting jacked out of shows. I'll probably be on the airplane. [img]graemlins/broken_heart.gif[/img]

Yeah, it is a bad time to schedule it. BTW, missed you at Endless Strummer. I would have called but we took the motorcycle and only stayed for the first 3 bands. It was really fun though, and packed full of people. Still lots of boys but not as cute as I remember.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Yeah! I had to skip the Endless Strummer. The Horrorpops did a number on me the night before. Last memory was smoking with the drummer... and then blank!!

If you have nothing going on tonight you should roll down to Annie's my friends band ADHD is playing. Gonna be a rockin time'

At shows in the past he made fun of the people who get on the internet and claim he has a shrink wrapped set lit ...it was funny ... and the last 2 times I saw Rev he played songs called out from the audience for at least 45 min in response to that accusation ... cant really complain about that!

All in all their shows are awesome, its a very talented group, Houston shows are particularly fun since its Jimbo's home show as well. Gets shit going real nice, crowd is very responsive.

Going to the houston show tomorrow, yippie! I do wish Hank III was at this one though.
